The Origin
How CCR Was Born
Christian Comedy Revival was born from a simple conviction: laughter is not the opposite of faith — it's a gift from God.
Rooted in Proverbs 17:22, CCR brings together some of the South's most talented voices — pastors, comedians, and Christian artists — for an evening that's equal parts revival and stand-up special.
We perform LIVE at Revive Church in Mobile, Alabama, with a growing audience who shows up hungry for something real — funny, encouraging, and grounded in the Word. Every show is different. Every show leaves you with something.
The name says it all: this is a revival. Not the old-school tent meeting kind (though we have deep respect for that tradition). This is a revival of joy in the church. A reminder that Christians can laugh loud, love hard, and leave fully alive.
